Designed by British designer Matthew Hilton in 1983, the Swan candleholders are a striking example of postmodern design, originally produced by SCP in England.
Cast in polished aluminium, their elongated, angular silhouettes take inspiration from the graceful curve of a swan’s neck. Sharp lines meet sweeping curves, creating a sculptural interplay of form, movement and negative space.
Presented as a pair in contrasting heights, the candleholders create a beautiful dialogue between their forms. Equally compelling with or without candles, they stand as sculptural objects in their own right.
Condition: great condition with some traces of wear.
