THE CARAFE
A striking vintage Italian glass carafe with a beautifully elongated silhouette and sculptural twisted form. The spiral movement of the glass gives the piece an almost fluid quality, catching and distorting the light across its surface.
The carafe is completed by its original glass stopper, itself beautifully crafted with a delicate twisted form that echoes the movement of the vessel below. Elegant and sculptural, the piece has a strong decorative presence while remaining entirely functional, whether used for water or wine at the table or simply left standing as an object in its own right.
Condition: excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear.
